First seen Mar 04, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested whether motivational interviewing (a supportive conversation style) during and after pregnancy helps women feel more confident about using birth control. 72 pregnant women were split into two groups: one received the extra conversations, the other got standard care. The goal was to see if the conversations improved women's attitudes and use of contraception after giving birth.
