Summary
This study looks at whether motivational interviewing—a supportive, goal-oriented conversation style—can help older adults (65+) who live alone feel less lonely, stay independent in daily tasks, and enjoy a better quality of life. Sixty participants will be randomly assigned to receive the interviews or standard care. The study measures changes in loneliness, ability to perform everyday activities, and overall well-being.
