Mentor moms step in to help women break cycle of violence and depression

Summary
This study tested a new support program for pregnant women and mothers of young children who have experienced intimate partner violence. The program, called MOSAIC Plus, pairs participants with trained mentor mothers from the community for six months. The goal was to see if this support could help reduce symptoms of depression and post-traumatic stress while also helping prevent further violence.
