Summary
This study tested a morphine gel applied directly to painful mouth sores caused by chemotherapy in children and young adults ages 5 to 25. The goal was to see if the gel could relieve pain better than morphine given through an IV. The study was stopped early, but it aimed to help manage a common and painful side effect of cancer treatment.
