First seen Apr 15, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study tests whether a low dose of morphine can help people with severe COPD who need a breathing machine (non-invasive ventilation). The goal is to reduce early failure of the machine by easing pain, shortness of breath, and anxiety. About 24 adults with a COPD flare-up will take part to find the safest and most effective dose.
