Summary

This study is testing whether daily morning light exposure can help improve mood and reduce suicidal thoughts in military personnel. It will involve 480 service members wearing a special light headset for 30 minutes each morning for two weeks. Researchers will compare the effects of this active light to a placebo light to see if it helps regulate sleep patterns and mental health.
