Ancient 'Miracle Tree' put to the test for common pregnancy problem
NCT ID NCT06875947
Summary
This study is testing whether adding a powdered supplement made from Moringa leaves to standard iron pills can better treat iron deficiency anemia in pregnant women. It involves 59 pregnant women in Indonesia who will take either the standard iron pills alone or the iron pills plus the Moringa powder for 60 days. Researchers will check if the Moringa helps improve blood iron levels and reduces inflammation more effectively than iron pills by themselves.
