Doctors hunt early clues to predict MS severity

NCT ID NCT03541226

Summary

This study aimed to find better ways to predict how severe multiple sclerosis might become in people who show early warning signs. Researchers followed 134 patients with a single neurological episode (clinically isolated syndrome) using MRI brain scans and eye exams. The goal was to identify markers that could help doctors adjust treatments earlier for those likely to develop more serious disability.
