New moms get help for depression and drinking in pilot study

Summary
This study looks at whether a 6-week program that combines problem-solving therapy with small rewards can help new mothers feel less depressed and drink less alcohol. About 30 mothers who gave birth in the last year will take part. Half will get the program and half will not, and researchers will compare their symptoms over three months.
