First seen Feb 02, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study tests whether a personalized, algorithm-based psychotherapy is more effective than usual one-on-one therapy for adults with major depression complicated by personality problems or past trauma. About 150 people in Chile's public mental health system will be randomly assigned to either the new modular therapy or standard therapy. Researchers will track depression remission, symptom reduction, and daily mood changes to see which approach works better.
