Blood pressure gadget for tiny babies falls short in early test
NCT ID NCT05976425
First seen Nov 06, 2025 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tested a special blood pressure cuff for newborns and infants (under 3 years old) to see if it meets international accuracy standards. Only 7 babies with an existing arterial line took part. The study was stopped early, so we don't have clear results on whether the device works well enough.
