Moderna tests mRNA shot to tame multiple sclerosis

Summary

This study is testing the safety and early effectiveness of an experimental mRNA injection called mRNA-1195 in adults with early-stage multiple sclerosis (MS). Researchers will give different doses or a placebo to 180 participants and monitor them for side effects and changes in brain lesions over nearly three years. The goal is to see if this new approach can help control the disease activity in people with MS.
