Moderna tests mRNA tech against seasonal flu

NCT ID NCT05606965

Summary

This study tested a new flu vaccine made with mRNA technology, similar to Moderna's COVID-19 vaccine. It involved 172 healthy adults and compared the new vaccine's safety and ability to trigger an immune response against standard flu shots. The main goal was to see if the mRNA vaccine was safe and how well it protected against flu strains one month after vaccination.
