New dialysis machine could let kidney patients treat themselves at home

Summary

This study is testing a new dialysis machine called Moda-flx in 50 adults with end-stage kidney disease who are already on stable dialysis. The goal is to see if it is safe and works well both in a clinic and at home when used by trained patients or care partners. The study will measure how well the machine cleans the blood and track any side effects.
