New smart oxygen device could free lung patients from constant monitoring

NCT ID NCT07222592

First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study tests a new device called MoblO2 that automatically adjusts oxygen flow to keep blood oxygen levels steady, so people with COPD or interstitial lung disease don't have to constantly check and adjust their oxygen themselves. About 48 adults who already use oxygen during activity will try the device for two weeks. The goal is to see if it helps them be more active, use oxygen more efficiently, and feel better about their treatment.
