Stretching for musicians: a small study tests if mobility moves improve posture and balance

NCT ID NCT07632950

First seen Jun 12, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether a four-week program of gentle mobilization exercises could improve balance in orchestra musicians, who often stand or sit in awkward positions for long periods. Twenty-three musicians were split into groups that did the exercises once or twice a week. The researchers measured balance using a virtual reality system before, during, and after the program.
