Summary
This study tested a special device called the Liana® mobilizer to help critically ill patients on breathing support stand up more often. 40 ICU patients were randomly assigned to use the device or receive standard care. The goal was to see if the device could help patients reach a higher level of mobility, like standing, which may reduce muscle weakness and improve recovery.
