Scientists track Amputees' daily travel to improve mobility

NCT ID NCT07387744

Summary

This study aims to understand how people with leg amputations move around their communities using both prosthetic limbs and wheelchairs. Researchers will track 50 participants' daily movements using GPS and activity monitors for 10-21 days, while also asking questions about their quality of life and mobility confidence. The goal is to gather better information about real-world mobility patterns to help improve future rehabilitation and assistive technology.
