First seen Mar 11, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study was designed to see if a mobile monitoring tool can accurately identify surgical site infections (SSIs) in orthopedic surgery patients, compared to the standard manual review. The plan was to enroll patients who had orthopedic surgery and had access to a mobile phone, and track changes in their physical function using a questionnaire. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
