Phone-based workouts aim to boost strength and mood in older cancer patients

Summary

This study tests a mobile health exercise program (GO-EXCAP) in 100 older adults (60+) with myeloid neoplasms who are receiving chemotherapy. Participants will either follow the exercise program or receive standard education. The goal is to see if the exercise program improves physical function, reduces fatigue, and enhances mood and quality of life. The study also looks at how exercise may affect certain markers of inflammation in the body.
