NCT ID NCT05672186
First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 24 times
Summary
This study tested whether a full-service mobile food market (a bus that sells affordable, healthy foods) can improve diet quality and reduce food insecurity in low-income neighborhoods. Researchers enrolled 262 participants from 12 community sites, randomly assigning sites to receive the market or wait. After 6 months, they measured diet through phone interviews and food security through surveys. The goal was to see if bringing low-cost groceries directly to underserved areas helps people eat better.
