Text message help for young drinkers with trauma
NCT ID NCT07118826
Summary
This study aimed to test an improved mobile app designed to help young adults (ages 18-29) who have experienced trauma and engage in heavy drinking. The app would teach coping skills and connect users with a peer coach for support via text messages. Researchers planned to compare this enhanced version to a standard app to see if it was more effective at reducing alcohol use, but the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled.
