Can a phone app help new moms heal from trauma and bond with baby?

NCT ID NCT05474534

Summary

This small pilot study is testing whether a mobile app that provides neurofeedback can help new mothers who have experienced past trauma. The goal is to see if using the app for 12 weeks can reduce mothers' stress and PTSD symptoms, improve their mood and parenting confidence, and even lead to less crying and fussiness in their babies. The study will compare 40 mothers using the app to a control group.
