First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 26 times
Summary
This study tested whether a mobile app could help adults who had been in the ICU and were still feeling distressed about it. Participants used the app for 6 weeks to process their difficult memories at their own pace. The goal was to see if people would actually use the app and find it helpful, so that a larger study could later test if it truly reduces distress.
