Summary

This study tested an oral medication called MLC1501 in 303 people who had a stroke within the past 2 to 10 days. Participants took either a high dose, low dose, or a placebo twice daily for 24 weeks. The main goal was to see if the drug improves motor skills, like moving arms and legs, compared to placebo.
