Summary
This early-stage study tests a new medicine called MK-1045 in 21 people with lupus or rheumatoid arthritis. The main goal is to check if the drug is safe and tolerable at different dose levels. Researchers will monitor side effects and how the body processes the drug. This is a first step to see if MK-1045 might help control these autoimmune diseases.
