Oxygen and light: a new hope for vitiligo?
NCT ID NCT07557693
First seen May 03, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests whether adding hyperbaric oxygen (HBO) therapy to standard UVB light treatment can improve skin color in people with vitiligo. Five adults with non-segmental vitiligo will receive UVB twice a week for 24 weeks plus 40 HBO sessions over 8 weeks. The goal is to see if this combination leads to better repigmentation than UVB alone.
