First seen Feb 14, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study tests whether taking MitoQ, a dietary supplement that targets cell powerhouses, for 3 months can improve brain artery function in healthy women aged 60 and older after menopause. Participants will take either MitoQ or a placebo daily and undergo brain blood flow tests at the start, halfway, and end of the study. The goal is to see if MitoQ can reverse age- and menopause-related declines in brain blood vessel health.
