Can a simple supplement and arm squeeze protect stroke survivors?
NCT ID NCT06930638
Summary
This study is testing if an over-the-counter antioxidant supplement called MitoQ, or a technique that briefly restricts arm blood flow, can improve blood vessel health in people who have had a stroke. The goal is to see if these methods can help reduce the risk of a second stroke and improve overall cardiovascular health. Researchers will measure blood vessel function and collect blood samples from about 30 stroke survivors to look for positive changes.
