NCT ID NCT07242807

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study is a large registry that will follow 2,000 men with enlarged prostate (BPH) who receive minimally invasive treatments like Rezum, UroLift, or Aquablation. Researchers will track symptoms, urine flow, and quality of life for up to 6 years to see which treatments work best and for whom. The goal is to provide real-world evidence to guide doctors and patients in choosing the right procedure.

What this could mean

Our plain-language read of the trial. This is informational only — not medical advice or a prediction.

What this could lead to

If successful, this registry could help doctors choose the best minimally invasive prostate treatment for each patient, improving symptom relief and quality of life.

What could go wrong

This is an observational study, not a treatment trial. It collects data without testing new therapies, so it won't directly lead to a new cure or treatment.
