New combo therapy aims to retrain legs after stroke

Summary

This study tests whether adding electrical stimulation or special sound beats to mirror therapy can improve leg movement in people who had a stroke at least 6 months ago. Researchers will measure muscle control, spasticity, and brain activity in 72 adults aged 20-80. The goal is to find a better way to help stroke survivors regain walking ability.
