NCT ID NCT07537465
First seen Apr 18, 2026 · Last updated Apr 29, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tested whether mirror therapy can reduce pain and improve movement in stroke patients who also have complex regional pain syndrome (CRPS). Forty adults who had a stroke within the past year and were diagnosed with CRPS took part. For 4 weeks, one group received daily mirror therapy plus standard rehab, while the other group received a sham version. Researchers measured pain, swelling, and motor function before and after treatment to see if mirror therapy helps.
