Summary
This observational study in Thailand is testing whether two substances in the blood (miRNA and FGF21) measured during the first trimester can predict which women will develop gestational diabetes later in pregnancy. Researchers will compare levels between 160 women who do and do not develop the condition. If the markers prove reliable, it could lead to earlier screening and better outcomes for mothers and babies.
