First seen Jan 02, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 17 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding a splint (a device that holds loose teeth together) to a gentle gum cleaning treatment helps people with advanced gum disease and loose front teeth. The researchers want to see if the splint improves gum attachment and quality of life more than the cleaning alone. The trial includes 50 adults with severe gum disease and at least one loose front tooth.
