Common antibiotic could be key to better brain bleed recovery
NCT ID NCT07338175
Summary
This study is testing if a 5-day course of the antibiotic minocycline, given soon after a sudden brain bleed, can help patients recover better. It will involve about 1,200 patients who receive either the drug or a placebo, in addition to standard care. The main goal is to see if more patients can achieve good functional independence 90 days after their stroke.
