Common antibiotic could be key to better stroke recovery
NCT ID NCT07237048
Summary
This study is testing if adding a low-cost antibiotic called minocycline to standard stroke care helps people recover better. It will enroll over 1,100 adults who have just had a moderate stroke. Researchers will compare recovery and survival rates between those who get the antibiotic plus standard care and those who get standard care alone.
