Keyhole surgery trial aims to ease recovery for ovarian cancer patients

Summary
This large study is testing whether a less invasive 'keyhole' surgery works as well as traditional open surgery for women with advanced ovarian, fallopian tube, or primary peritoneal cancer. All participants receive chemotherapy before surgery. Researchers want to see if the minimally invasive approach keeps the cancer from returning for as long, while also improving recovery and quality of life.
