Summary

This study is testing the safety and performance of a small medical device called the MiniLung petite kit. It is designed to temporarily take over the work of the lungs and heart for critically ill infants and young children who are in severe respiratory or heart failure. Researchers will observe 20 patients to see if the device safely improves oxygen levels and stabilizes blood circulation within the first day of use.
