First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 19 times
Summary
This study tests two different thicknesses (1.6mm vs 2mm) of mini-implants placed in the cheekbone area to support orthodontic treatment. Twenty people will receive one size on each side of their mouth. Researchers will measure how stable the implants are, how much pain patients feel, and how often they fail. The goal is to find out which size is better for this specific location.
