Summary
This study tested a mindfulness-based writing program to help military personnel manage stress and improve cognitive flexibility. 72 active-duty members were split into two groups: one did five sessions of mindful writing, the other followed standard mental health education. Results showed that the writing group had lower stress scores and higher cognitive flexibility scores compared to the control group.
