Summary
This study tested whether adding mindfulness, acceptance, and values-clarity techniques to standard weight loss counseling helps adults with overweight or obesity lose more weight. 276 adults aged 18-70 with a BMI between 27 and 50 took part. Researchers compared different combinations of these techniques to find the most effective approach.
