New mindfulness therapy tested against gold standard for sleepless nights
NCT ID NCT05555108
Summary
This study tested whether a new therapy focused on mindfulness and self-compassion could help people with chronic insomnia as well as the current standard treatment, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Researchers compared the two approaches in 31 adults diagnosed with insomnia. They measured changes in sleep quality, anxiety, and overall well-being to see which method was more effective.
