First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Apr 28, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at whether a mindfulness training program could change brain networks linked to memory and stress in teens who vape tobacco. Researchers planned to scan the brains of 14 adolescents before and after training and track their vaping habits. The study was stopped early, so results are limited, but the goal was to see if mindfulness could help teens vape less by calming brain circuits involved in addiction.
