Can changing your mindset change your migraines?
NCT ID NCT05003362
Summary
This study tested whether a mindfulness-based therapy called Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) could help reduce migraine frequency and disability. Researchers enrolled 75 women with frequent episodic migraines and randomly assigned them to either receive the ACT training or continue with their usual care. The ACT program taught participants skills to better manage pain and stress related to their migraines.
