First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study looked at whether a mindfulness-based education program could help female university students feel less stigma around sexual and reproductive health and boost their self-esteem. 48 young women took part in the program, and researchers measured changes in mindfulness, stigma, and self-esteem using standard questionnaires. The goal was to see if learning mindfulness techniques can positively impact how women view their own sexual health and themselves.
