Summary
This study tested a new program designed to help family caregivers of people with dementia manage their stress. The program combined mindfulness, self-compassion, and practical skills for handling difficult patient behaviors. Researchers enrolled 82 caregivers to see if the program was practical and acceptable, and to check for early signs that it could reduce stress and improve well-being.
