Can mindfulness ease the burnout crisis in teaching?

NCT ID NCT06926361

Summary

This study is testing whether an 8-week mindfulness course can help teachers feel less stressed and burned out while improving their teaching skills. Researchers will enroll 160 currently working teachers in Hong Kong and randomly assign them to either take the mindfulness course or continue their usual routines. The goal is to see if practicing mindfulness leads to better teacher wellbeing, more effective classroom strategies, and a more positive classroom environment.
