First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 22 times
Summary
This study tested whether an 8-week mindfulness program (MBSR) can reduce pain and improve daily function in 40 adults with hip or knee osteoarthritis. Participants were randomly assigned to either the mindfulness program or usual care. The main goal was to see if mindfulness training leads to less pain and better quality of life compared to standard treatment alone.
