NCT ID NCT03005652

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 20 times

Summary

This study tested whether an 8-week mindfulness program could reduce anxiety in older adults (60+) who worry about their memory but still score normally on memory tests. 168 participants were randomly assigned to either mindfulness training or a health education class. The goal was to see if lowering anxiety could improve mental health and possibly slow future memory decline.
