Mindfulness program eases anxiety: study shows promise

Summary
This study tested an 8-week mindfulness-based psychoeducation program in 50 adults diagnosed with anxiety disorders. Half received the program, half did not. The goal was to see if mindfulness could lower perceived stress, reduce intolerance of uncertainty, and improve cognitive flexibility. Results suggest the program may help people with anxiety cope better with daily challenges.
